Bianca Corpuz

Graduate Student, Earth and Planetary Sciences, Johns Hopkins University

Bianca Corpuz is a Ph.D. student in earth science. She studies how land surfaces and local weather interact to create microclimate phenomena such as urban heat islands. She uses satellite data and ground-based sensors to create mathematical and statistical models. She also applies her public health training to study the inequitable health effects of extreme heat.
