Wei Peng’s research supports policymakers by quantifying the social, political, and environmental tradeoffs that are part of any climate policy. Current focuses include better representing social and political realities into models of energy systems, and identifying tradeoffs between health and climate in energy strategies to discontinue the use of carbon-based energy.
