The 21st Century Cities Initiative (21CC) at Johns Hopkins University is pleased to announce that the 2018 edition of our Symposium—21st Century Neighborhoods: Research. Leadership. Transformation.—will be incorporated into the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia’s 2018 Reinventing Our Communities: Investing in Opportunity Conference to be held at the Hilton Baltimore on October 1-3, 2018.

As a 2018 “ROC” conference lead partner and sponsor, 21CC is working closely with the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia to shape the agenda, presenters, and audience. This year’s “ROC” Conference will build on 21CC’s 21st Century Neighborhoods symposiums (held in Baltimore the past couple of autumns) to bring together diverse and cross-disciplinary city leaders and experts, urban scholars, community developers and organizers, and more to explore the latest place-based research, strategies, policies, and programs for expanding opportunity, inclusion, and innovation in U.S. cities and communities.
