Claire Welty

Professor, Environmental Engineering, UMBC

Claire Welty works to integrate mathematical water quality models with data from sensors in the field to predict how water and chemicals will flow and be stored on and beneath land – in real time. This work happens from the neighborhood to the regional scale, and involves placing and monitoring many sensors in neighborhoods.
