Colin Zarzycki

Assistant Professor, Meteorology and Climate Dynamics, Penn State University

Colin Zarzycki simulates extreme atmospheric phenomena (such as cyclones) and investigates  how short-term weather interacts with long-term climate. He uses high-resolution models on extremely powerful (petascale) computers to study storms on timescales from days to decades, with a goal of improving these models.
