Postdoctoral Research Associate, Environmental Sciences, University of Virginia

Ruoyu (Roy) Zhang is a postdoc in environmental science who evaluates how ecosystem restoration using natural materials can mitigate the risk of floods and improve water quality in urban areas. He uses models based on physics as well as statistical analysis of terrain and climate data to simulate the interactions among water and ecosystems in Baltimore’s watersheds.
